Illustrations by Jonas T. Ulbrich of the
Metamorphoseon Libri
Information depends on the method used to decode a given message. This is always true and maybe even more so for the digital domain. Indeed, two digital signals diverge only by the number and permutations of its basic buliding bricks: ones and zeros. As a simple consequence one can change the way a given set of ones and zeros is read, thus extrapolating new information. This is a set of abstract illustrations, which do not reflect the conceptual essence coded in Ovid's work, instead they rely on the fact that information undergoes substantial changes if read differently: in other words a metamorphosis.
